How to order
Musée is a “design, print and assemble” service using Photojunction. Send us the images and we'll do all the production work including design and full colour service printing.
Although those services are complimentary, some Musée clients prefer to be more hands-on. For example, rather than simply uploading the images for us to design the album, they might prefer to lay them out page by page in Photojunction to guide us in telling the story.
We provide separate Musée Resources for Photojunction. We suggest you contact your Account Manager before placing your first order. The Queensberry design team will supervise your Musée order through the design and production process and will be happy to assist at any time.
MUSÉE PAGES
Musée pages are similar to our Duo pages and can include the normal Duo design features such as digital pages, apertures bled out to the page edge, split mats etc.
They may also feature an enhancement of the Pagemount concept – multi-image apertures, in which multiple individually trimmed prints are presented in a single rectangular aperture. For further information please talk to our design team.
Colour Management
Complimentary design and colour correction services are included in the cost of the album. If you prefer to do your own colour correction, please be sure to soft proof and review your files carefully before uploading.
Photojunction automatically installs and updates Queensberry’s colour profiles for all our silver halide and digital-offset products. To use them you just need to add them to your soft-proofing set-up in the normal way (in Photoshop, go to Proof Setup in the View menu – if you’re unclear how to do this, the process is described in our knowledge base).
Like Photoshop, Aperture has built in soft-proofing functionality, but if you're using Lightroom 3, you'll need a plug-in.
MUSÉE PRICES
Prices can be downloaded from our secure website (you’ll need to login first).
Musée prices are all-inclusive and include the cover, up to 18 pages (36 sides), printing and assembly, as well as the Solander Box, story folio (on request) and freight.
All items must be ordered and shipped together or extra charges will apply.
