Because your Queensberry will be unique, it's important that your photographer guides you through your choices.
You may be able to see display samples, swatch books and page samplers to help you explore the possibilities, right down to personal touches such as titles and cover motifs. Alternatively, spend some time exploring this site to see what we can do for you.
The first step in the process is to chose the images you want in the album.
The photographer can then begin the design process. Some studios like very specific instructions before they start work. Others will pre-design the entire album for you, and present it on-screen as your very first experience of the photography.
However it's done, you should expect to see previews of the page layouts so you can approve the design before it goes to be made.
If you feel the need to make changes to your album, you can do so right up to the point that the studio places your order.
It can be an emotional and rewarding experience seeing your album for the first time – the end of a long process that started with choosing the photographer.
Studios differ greatly in terms of quality, experience, style, price and what they offer their clients, so it pays to ask around. Remember, someone else's favourite photographer may not suit you – not everyone has the same wants or tastes.
You need to relate well to the photographer on a personal level. If you're getting married, they'll be sharing a deeply emotional day with you. If they're shooting portraits of your family, how they relate to the kids will make a huge difference.
These days you can find out a lot online. Many studios publish their imagery and albums on their websites and blogs, a great way to get a sense of their style, to see what their earlier clients have chosen, and to discover how they feel about the experience.
While we expect all photographers who use our services to act at all times with honesty, professionalism and integrity, we cannot and do not guarantee their work. We encourage you to shop around and to thoroughly evaluate several studios for yourself.
